This peaceful two bedroom cottage built in 1850 of traditional stone lies a mile south of the Roman Wall on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, with off road parking for two cars it has secluded gardens with patio sitting out area for those relaxing evenings. The newly refitted breakfasting kitchen with table and four chairs is complete with electric oven and hob.

The cottage is within easy walking distance of local amenities such as shops, pubs, and bank cash machine. Easily accessible and centrally situated for Hadrian's Wall, Hexham, Allen Banks (NT), Kielder Water, Northumbrian Coastline, North Pennines, Scottish Borders and with the shopping centres of Newcastle and the Metro Centre at Gateshead only a short drive away.

Enjoy Northumberland's historic castles or the rugged countryside and Roman past. Rail and bus transport for Newcastle and Carlisle is also available. Various amenities close by including fishing, golf, riding and boating on Kielder.
